Objectives of Support Programs for Non-Chinese Speaking Children
- Support non-Chinese speaking children in their Chinese learning at our school and foster their interest in the language.
- To care for the growth needs of non-Chinese speaking children and encourage holistic development.
- Construct an inclusive campus environment to help non-Chinese speaking children integrate into the community.
Learning support
- In addition to learning with local children, non-Chinese speaking children receive weekly Chinese instruction in small groups.
- To facilitate learning of non-Chinese-speaking students at home, teachers will translate homework content into English, enabling parents to better support their children.
- Teachers will teach in Cantonese to immerse non-Chinese speaking children in the Chinese language environment.
Caring and communion
- School organizes multicultural activities such as Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration, Christmas Party, New Year Fair and Easter Celebration. Non-Chinese-speaking parents and children are invited to participate
Other support
- Parent events (such as Parents Day and Educational Lectures) The school arranges a dedicated translator
